Hawaiian Kona Fancy: Kona is a region on the slopes of the Hualalai and Maina Loa Mountains of Hawaii. The rich volcanic soil and afternoon cloud cover protects the sensitive coffee trees from the strong mid-day sun, making for the ideal environment for the coffee to develop. This coffee is hand picked in multiple pickings ONLY at the peak of ripeness before being pulped and sun dried. This is one of the most well balanced coffees in the world. It is rich and aromatic with chocolate flavors. $23.65/lb

Yauco Selecto Grade-1: This coffee is grown in the West Central Cordillera of the island and is easily one of the finest coffees in the world. It has a comparable cup to the the Jamaican Blue Mountain. It has an earthy and smooth cup with exceptional balance and mellowness. It is grown in rich soil and under dense shading and is hand picked in three pickings from August to January. This coffee is fermented for 24 hours and is then dried for 5 - 7 days, which allows its rich cocoa flavor to develop slowly. $19.85/lb

Central America

Antigua Guatemala: This coffee is famous as one of the most perfectly balanced coffees in the world and for the legendary volcanic mountainous Antigua region where this extra-hard-bean grows. It is rich in body and flavor, and is excellent as either light roast or as dark to espresso roast. Antigua commands intense loyalty from many coffee aficionados world wide. There is a reason this region is so loved and sought out by the coffee connoisseur and is our favorite. $11.49/lb

Lake Atitlan: This coffee is grown in the Southeast corner of Lake Atitlan region, just East of Volcan Toliman. The coffee is planted at elevations between 5200 to 7000 feet. The pickers are paid an additional amount per Quintale to pick only the ripest beans. This has a profound effect on the quality of the cup. In addition to the coffee, the farm is growing traditional herbs for medicinal purposes which increase the variety of the Flora on the land. Deep body, stunning acidity and fruit, and hints of chocolate and cinnamon. Atitlan is truly a classic coffee. $11.60/lb

Hue Hue Tenango: The region crossed by the northwest Cuchumatanes Range, whose limestone mountains reach elevation of over 11.000 feet above sea level and has a wide range of micro-climates. The quality of these coffees is defined by the warm winds and the masses of cold air from the Cuchumatanes. Coffee produced in this region present very special characteristics in the cup. Hue Hue Tenango (way-way ten-na-go) produces a wonderful bright coffee with nice body, and excellent floral tones and fruitiness. Besides all these great cup attributes, it's just fun to say, "Hue Hue Tenango". $11.60/lb

Costa Rica SHB: This is an outstanding coffee with a great deal of verve. It is full bodied and piquant, with hints of spice and smokiness. Complex enough to be wonderful on its own or in blend. The combination of soil and weather meet the right formulas here. The small, high mountainous Costa Rican Tarrazú region has the ideal conditions. If you want outstanding Tarrazú coffee you are going to find it in San Marcos de Tarrazú. $11.99/lb

Costa Rica, Los Rios Organic: This outstanding coffee has full body and complex enough to be wonderful on its own. This coffee is a great Costa Rican organic and is well suited to all coffee drinkers. This is a special order bean, so please allow an additional seven days to process. $11.95/lb

Mexican Altura Chiapas: Coffees from Chiapas are grown in the mountains of the southeastern-most corner of Mexico, near the border with Guatemala. The market name traditionally associated with these coffees is Tapachula. Coffees from Mexico are not among the world's greatest coffees, because they often lack richness and body, but at their best they are a good light coffee; delicate in body, with a pleasantly dry, acidic snap. If you drink your coffee black and like a light, acidic cup, you will like this variety. This is a special order bean, so please allow an additional seven days to process. $11.99/lb

Panama Boquette SHB: Good body, clean finish, a rich flavor, well balanced, with fruit and dark cocoa tones. It has medium body and acidity and is great for Vienna and dark roasts. This is a special order bean, so please allow an additional seven days to process. $11.75/lb

South America

Colombian Supremo 'Campo Alegre': The regional specialty 'Campo Alegre' grows in three small rural communities located on the eastern Cordillera in the Department of Huila in Colombia. Sun drying follows the strict traditional Colombian traditions. The individual growers of Campo Alegre are actively working to preserve and promote this fine origin. The Campo Alegre is very consistent, and has prominent floral, aromatic fragrance. Acidity and body in the Columbian Supremo are well balanced. Grown at 5300ft - 5900ft altitudes. $10.95/lb

Brasil Serra Negra: In the early 1900’s many families immigrated from Italy to the Black Mountains of Brazil. There, they started a new life growing coffee. The Black Mountains offer ideal growing conditions for the Arabica coffee; high altitude, rich soil and cool nights. This coffee is still picked by hand and naturally dried in the field, just as it has been for generations. These fine Arabica beans have been imported directly from the farmers. When brewed, this choice coffee has a rich, nutty, chocolate aroma, and a light body with a pleasingly mild flavor. Indonesia

Sumatra Mandheling Fancy: A pungent, full-bodied and slightly aggressive coffee. The dry-processed method (by which there is prolonged contact of the coffee beans with the dried fruit covering) contributes to its unique flavor characteristics. As an Indonesian coffee, it has the typical earthy qualities and makes for a very complex and satisfying cup of coffee. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe: Coffee from the cradle of the world. These are wet processed, wonderful beans. You will find a soft, fruity and rich coffee in these beans. Ethiopian Harrar: This complex and flavorful coffee has under tones of blueberry. The Harrar offers a smooth, rounded body, with sparkling acidity. Tanzanian Peaberry Kilimanjaro: is a product of extremely careful growing and processing and a naturally occurring mutation. The peaberry is a mutation which occurs in all coffee. This is when there is only one bean per cherry and that makes for a much more intense flavor in that one bean and the AA are coveted by the Japanese. This coffee is a rich acidic bean with a very dry cup with the lighter roasts, but its at its best with a full city roast. This is a special order bean, so please allow an additional seven days to process. $10.99/lb

India

Indian Monsooned Malabar: This coffee has a flavor similar to aged Sumatra but with woody nuances. This can be an acquired taste with a low acidity. Monsooned coffee is harvested arabica beans that are laid out in the open and exposed to monsoon winds and rains for about a week, then placed in warehouses exposed to the salt and sea winds during the monsoon season. The beans swell with moisture and turn a pale yellow. This coffee tastes like no other, and it is usually a love-hate relationship. India Mysore Nuggets: This is a premium coffee that represents the best quality from India. The beans are very large, with a clean appearance. The coffee exhibits full aroma, medium to good body, good acidity and fine flavor with a hint of spice. These spicy overtones come from the cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves that grow alongside the coffee trees. $11.65/lb

Plantation A Jamboor: This is a specialty coffee that represents high quality Indian coffee. It exhibits great aroma and good body, has nice acidity and fine flavor. This coffee is grown in Jumboor Estate in the Kodagu District of Karnataka located in the wooded highlands of northern Coorg.
